Aussie motorsport legend Toby Price has made history at Black Rock Motor Resort, setting the first-ever official timed lap in a Can-Am, pushing it to the absolute limit.

Navigating 23 corners, 165 metres of elevation change, and high-speed straights, Price put the circuit’s undulating design and technical complexity to the test. This marks a major milestone in the journey towards Black Rock’s official launch in June 2026.

Carved into the Newcastle, NSW countryside, Black Rock is the latest Tilke-designed, FIA Grade 2 circuit, stretching 5.4km through breathtaking terrain. After nine months of precision earthworks, the final stages—including drainage, roadbase, and asphalt—are now underway.

This is just the beginning. Black Rock Motor Resort is redefining luxury motorsport as Australia’s first motorsport resort.
